Warranty and returns

1.1

The product warranty only covers original manufacturing defects and not defects that arise in connection with or following a change in the function and appearance of the product. This means, for example, a rebuild, upgrade or other configuration of the product that differs from its original configuration. The order confirmation is what you need to show to exercise your warranty. Different products have different warranty periods, please check the product page to find out what applies to your product. Warranties for our vehicles are only valid if all servicing, maintenance and repairs have been carried out according to the user manual and if the service is carried out by a workshop with a corresponding receipt.

1.2

Your right to notify non-conformity applies to products that are defective under applicable consumer protection laws. Customers wishing to claim defects in ordered products must contact us directly once the defect is detected with detailed information. The contact details are available on our website. Notifications of non-conformity given within two months of discovering the defect are always considered to have been submitted in time. You have a three-year right to notify non-conformity for products purchased on the website. You should always notify non-conformities as soon as possible after discovering the non-conformity.

1.3

We always pay returns when notices of non-conformity have been accepted.

1.4

Once a product has been returned and the notification of non-conformity has been accepted, we will compensate you under the terms of the applicable consumer protection legislation. This is usually done within 30 days of receipt of the non-conformity notice, but may take longer depending on the type of product. We reserve the right to reject a notification of non-conformity if it turns out that the product is not defective under the terms of the applicable consumer protection legislation. When notifying non-conformity, we follow the Consumer Disputes Guidelines (www.arn.se). More information is available at www.konsumentverket.se.

1.5

Warranties for our different vehicles are only valid if all service, maintenance and repairs required by the user manual and service plan are carried out by a workshop and a receipt is provided.

1.6

We will pay the cost of repairs for approved warranty defects. You should always contact our customer service first if a warranty fault occurs. The workshop where you take your vehicle must contact us before carrying out any repair. We will not pay the cost of repairs carried out without our approval. You are responsible for finding a local workshop and booking your vehicle. You are also responsible for taking your vehicle to a workshop for repair and for collecting it afterwards.

1.7

We offer a two-year warranty on all our vehicles. We also offer a one-year warranty for the batteries. Read more below. The two-year warranty we provide covers manufacturing defects. The warranty does not include any installation or adjustment measures that may be required for installation or in connection with servicing or wear and tear of consumables such as batteries, tires, brake pads, wires, lights or other normal wear and tear.

A battery is a consumable item and is subject to a one-year warranty. To ensure that the battery has the maximum lifespan, it is important to follow the maintenance advice. Don’t forget that a battery needs maintenance recharging if the vehicle is not used regularly or if you drive less than 10 km each time you start it.

Spare parts are subject to a one-year warranty, with the exception of wear parts and workshop labor, which are subject to a three-month warranty.

The guarantee does not cover:

Failure or damage caused as a result of misuse of the product, incorrect installation/adjustment/settings or insufficient maintenance and/or servicing. If a vehicle has been modified, i.e. if parts have been changed from the original design or if non-original parts have been used. Also vehicles used in commercial purposes.
